Music Nova Scotia held its 20th Annual General Meeting on Thursday, June 11, 2009 in Halifax, NS. President Brian Doherty presented the annual report and recapped a very successful year for the Association. Following 2 weeks of electronic voting, conducted by locally-owned Intelivote, the 2009-2010 Music Nova Scotia Board of Directors are as follows:

Past Director Dana Morin did not re-offer this year due to his work and travel commitments. Music Nova Scotia wishes to thank Dana for his volunteer service on the board. New to the Music Nova Scotia Board of Directors this year is Ian McKinnon. Ian is the Highland Bagpiper for the recently reunited Rawlins Cross. We welcome Ian to the Music Nova Scotia family and thank all the candidates for putting their name forward to serve on our Board of Directors.
