Halifax NS based In-Flight Safety formed in the small town of Sackville, NB, Canada during the twilight of their undergrad degrees. The inspiration to abandon their prescribed paths of study (fine art, computer science, geography, and classics) came as a one-line email that said: “nice album”. That email was from David Bowie in reference to a handmade copy of their basement-recorded, cinematic EP: Vacation Land.
