Winner of Music Nova Scotia's 2010 Musician of the Year Award, and nominated for a 2011 ECMA award for Male Solo Artist Recording of the Year, Ian Sherwood mixes catchy melodies and heart-breaking stories with saxophones and pop/rock/jazz grooves to create music that has been described as “Traditional singer/songwriter style at it’s essence.” *. His live show takes you on a trip up a back woods mountain, shooting sheriffs, has you singing “Amen!” only to drop you off in Cape Town for a short recovery.
