Bilingual singer-songwriter or “chanteuse” from the Acadian region of Pubnico, 2006 ECMA nominee for Francophone Recording of the Year ( “Mes deux souliers”), twice nominated for a Music Nova Scotia award (Francophone Artist of the Year), Yvette is versatile both as a performer and keyboard player. Her lively performances combine a rich blend of traditional, Acadian folksongs, and original and contemporary French/Acadian ballads. She has performed with Symphony Nova Scotia (2003 and 2004), has toured with the Maritime Forces Stadacona Band , and toured in France.

 

Zac Crouse
